PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Jobs cover a wide range of areas, including, but not limited to: sewing operators, tailors, computerized cutters, markers and graders, sales representatives, equipment technicians, design and production assistants. The core training program extends six months and is anchored by technical skills training in sewing and garment construction.  Trainees are cross-trained in several different areas as well, with rotational exposure to other specialized areas that require additional study.  The program will prepare them for careers in the industry, groom them for success, then open doors for them to succeed by connecting them to permanent positions.  Ongoing career guidance is the “silver bullet” that breaks the cycle of poverty in distressed communities, ensuring long-term success and passing critical skills to the next generation.
